Series G2
External Composite
The Model G2 composite pump offers
users the advantage of moderate corrosion resistance, resistance
to vibration damage, and extremely light weight at a very affordable
cost. Over a decade of service in industrial and agricultural applications
has clearly demonstrated the durability and value inherent in this
design.
Nyrim was originally developed for use on bulldozer
tracks and pump impellers in abrasive applications. In many cases,
Nyrim exhibits abrasion resistance equal to cast iron, yet has the
ability to thrive in corrosive environments unsuitable for non-alloy
grade metallic pumps.
The Model G2 is available with a selection of available
options, which allow the pump specifier to quickly and easily adapt
the standard pump to more demanding applications.
Standard Pump Attributes
The Model G2 is fabricated with Nyrim, a durable,
chemical resistant co-polymer developed by DSM. The G2 has similar
flow performance and dimensional characteristics as the DR3, yet
offers distinctive advantages which include extremely light weight,
vibration resistance, and low cost.
The standard Model G2 is provided with PA-12 gears,
bronze bearings, chromed and hardened shafts, neoprene lip seal,
integral relief valve, 2” NPT ports, and bi-rotational operation
capability.
